We have come together to make amazing images to the best of our abilities, but just as important is that we have fun doing it!
Once you have booked your session, we will discuss outfit and location options, and you can tell me about any ideas you would like to create. I will send you a mood board of inspiration images to help visualize the concept.
Tips to prepare for your photoshoot:
-Even if the concept is simple (dance wear in a downtown area) plan and practice poses/combos you want to execute and see captured.
-Light makeup is always a good idea, unless otherwise specified
-Do your hair. bedhead is very hard to correct
-Get plenty of rest. fatigue really does show in photos!
-Make sure your outfits are clean-or at least free of pet hair and wrinkles
During your photo session, we will be exploring different ideas. I will push you out of your comfort zone, but I'll never push you to do anything dangerous/injurious. be open to possibilities and have fun!
***I am not a dancer, but I have an eye for correct technique. I can point out basic corrections and you will be able to review your images in the moment as well. proper technique is as important to me as it is to you.
I am always happy to have your mom/dad/older sibling help out! parents be warned, I've been known to put you in the photos...
